Rush Countdown Privacy Policy

Overview

Rush Countdown is a Picture in Picture countdown timer designed for time-sensitive moments. The app does not require an account, does not show ads, and does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

The app may make network requests to time services when you choose to calibrate the countdown or when automatic calibration runs while Picture in Picture is active.

Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not require you to create an account.
• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, messages, or payment information through the app.
• We do not collect precise location data.
• We do not use advertising identifiers.
• We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Information Stored on Your Device

Rush Countdown may store app preferences on your device, such as your selected display language. This information is used only to keep the app working as you configured it.

These preferences remain on your device unless you change them, reset them, or delete the app.

Network Time Calibration

When you tap Sync or when automatic calibration runs, Rush Countdown sends a request to a network time service to estimate the difference between your device time and server time.

The app currently may use the following time providers as available:

• RapidAPI World Time API
• GetTime API
• TimeAPI.io
• Coinbase public time endpoint

These services may receive standard network request information, such as your IP address, request time, user agent, and basic connection metadata. Rush Countdown uses the response only to calculate a time offset for the countdown.

We do not use network time calibration data for advertising, tracking, profiling, or selling personal information.

Picture in Picture

Rush Countdown uses Picture in Picture to display a countdown window while you switch apps. The app does not inspect, read, record, or control content from other apps.

The app does not click buttons, fill forms, bypass queues, or perform purchases for you.

How We Use Information

Information handled by the app is used for the following purposes:

• Providing the countdown timer and Picture in Picture display.
• Saving local app preferences.
• Calibrating time and improving countdown accuracy.
• Troubleshooting issues if you contact support directly.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your information. We do not share information for advertising or tracking.

Network time providers receive standard request information only as necessary to respond to time calibration requests. Their handling of request metadata is governed by their own privacy practices.

Data Retention and Deletion

Rush Countdown does not operate a user account system and does not maintain a user database.

Local preferences can be removed by deleting the app from your device. If you contact support by email or GitHub Issues, we may retain that communication as needed to respond and maintain support records. You may request deletion of support communications by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Rush Countdown is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International Use

Rush Countdown can be used in multiple countries and regions. Network time requests may be processed by service providers in different locations depending on their infrastructure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If the policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
